Freilichtmuseum Beuren

Old buildings from the middle Neckar region and the Swabian Alb have been taken down and rebuilt here, on the edge of Beuren near Nürtingen. Across the Herbstwiesen site you can walk among 24 historic buildings and get a sense of how people in this part of Swabia once lived and worked. The open-air museum opened in 1995 and is one of Baden-Württemberg's regional open-air museums.
