Fischinger Skimuseum

The ski museum in Fischen's Heimathaus follows skiing from 1925 to today, with old wooden skis, clothing from past decades and an old workshop where skis were once made. A drawing of the oldest Upper Allgäu wooden ski, with its leather shoe and binding, is among the displays. The rest of the house shows village life in the Allgäu, including traditional costume, a replica farmhouse parlour, spinning wheels and old carriages.
