Feuerwehrmuseum Marxen

Two exhibition halls with about 750 square metres tell the story of firefighting from the early 20th century to today. Fire engines and equipment take centre stage, among them a hand-pumped fire engine from the late 19th century, modern tanker trucks and a turntable ladder truck from 1928, of which only three were built. Smaller displays cover portable pumps, extinguishers and the fire protection police. A small shop at the entrance sells models, helmets and books.
