Felto - Filzwelt Soltau

Felt is both subject and material here. Across about 1,500 square metres, the museum shows how felt is made and what it can be used for, and much of it is hands-on, in the manner of a science centre. It occupies a listed brick building in central Soltau, a town where felt has been produced since 1851.
