Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Museum Garz

This museum in Garz is described as the oldest on Rügen. The building by the Burgwall opened in 1937, preceded by a local history room in the attic of the old town school. The collection covers the island's geology, history, and church and town history, along with manuscripts and a section on Ernst Moritz Arndt, after whom the museum is named.
