Erlebnismuseum Westfälische Salzwelten

Salt shaped Bad Sassendorf for centuries, and this museum shows how brine became salt and what both meant for local people. The interactive permanent exhibition fills more than 900 square metres in the farm building of the roughly 600-year-old Hof Haulle. A glass cube set into the listed structure is meant to recall a salt crystal. The museum is part of the Westphalian Salt Route.
