Elbschifffahrtsmuseum

Set in Lauenburg's old town hall, this museum follows shipping on the Elbe from Bohemia to Hamburg. Models, display cases and original pieces trace its development, including chain towing. In the treasury of ship propulsion, marine engines from 1850 to the present stand in blue light, some demonstrated with electric motors.
