A restored half-timbered house from 1656 in the middle of Oedelsheim presents the history, economy and culture of this Weser village over three floors. Sections cover local history, old crafts and textile making, with a weaving room. Shipping and rafting on the Weser were central to local livelihoods, and a separate area shows items from the homeland of the Sudeten Germans.
