Carl-Loewe-Museum

In Löbejün's old town centre, near the town church, a former schoolhouse stands on the foundations of Carl Loewe's birthplace. The permanent exhibition shows the balladeer-composer's handwritten scores, letters and first editions. Recordings of his songs and ballads fill a large collection in the attic, and listening stations let you hear his music.
