Brauereimuseum Altomünster

Beneath a vaulted ceiling dating from 1707, the Kapplerbräu brewery keeps its history on show: a cask gauging device, an old bottle-washing and filling machine, a hundred-year-old hand labeller and other tools. The guided tour follows beer from raw materials through brewing to the bottle. Afterwards you can taste the house beer in the old Bräustüberl, where brewers and maltsters once ended their working day. Tours are for groups of 12 or more by arrangement.
