Bergbau-Museum Hof Gümmer

This farmstead museum shows how the arrival of miners changed Lindhorst, alongside older village life. Alongside the exhibits, computer stations let you browse documents, photographs, film clips and recorded testimonies from people who lived it. You hear about work underground and the apprentices' experiences, as well as how houses were built, hair was cut and celebrations held above ground. There is a farm café on site.
