Bauern- und Freilichtmuseum Mondseer Rauchhaus

Two sites share one theme: farm life in the Mondsee region. The newer farm museum uses original tools, film and listening stations to follow the work of the four seasons, from arable farming and grassland to forestry, from prehistory to the present. Behind it lies the open-air museum with the Mondsee smoke house, the farmstead type once common here, along with its outbuildings and grounds. It is the oldest open-air museum in Upper Austria.
