Automuseum Braunschweig

This private vehicle museum in Braunschweig's Querum district shows about 80 cars along with motorbikes, mopeds, bicycles and engines. The focus is on Volkswagen, with police Beetles, an Antarctic Beetle from Australia and a Beetle taxi prototype from Mexico. You will also find the NSU Ro 80, Rometsch special bodies and cars by BMW, Borgward, Opel and Porsche. A rarity is the Hanko Rheingold, a Plymouth chassis fitted with a Chevrolet engine and probably the last of its kind.
