Auswanderermuseum

Three centuries of emigration from the Palatinate are traced here through exhibits and display boards: from the decision to leave and the official permits to the crossing, arrival and settlement abroad. Most emigrants headed for North America, others for Brazil, Australia or even Ireland. The focus is on individual human stories, which is why many descendants come in search of their roots. The museum also has its own pub and offers whisky tastings.
