Archiv der Avantgarden

Collector Egidio Marzona gathered more than a million documents, letters, photographs, sketches, plans and pamphlets, along with about a thousand artworks, sculptures and design pieces, documenting the avant-gardes of the 20th century. They are shown in the Blockhaus on Dresden's Palaisplatz. Marzona cared not only about the works but also about the world in which they were made.
